Endeavor Philippines Welcomes New Board Member: Geraldine Acuña-Sunshine

Endeavor Philippines is proud to welcome Geraldine Acuña-Sunshine, JD, MPP, to its Board of Directors.
Geraldine is a corporate lawyer and social impact leader who brings a unique blend of legal, financial, and public policy expertise to the organization. She is the Co-Founder of the Collaborative Center for X-Linked Dystonia Parkinsonism (CCXDP) at Massachusetts General Hospital and President of the Sunshine Care Foundation, both dedicated to advancing research and humanitarian support for patients with XDP. She also serves as CEO of Khan Academy Philippines, the first international franchisee of the globally recognized online learning platform, which she brought to the country to expand access to world-class education.
Geraldine’s distinguished background includes serving as Vice-Chair of the Harvard University Board of Overseers and on several other notable boards such as the Massachusetts General Hospital, The Asian American Foundation, and the Women’s Foundation of Boston. A graduate of Harvard College, the Harvard Kennedy School, and Columbia Law School, she previously worked in corporate law and finance before focusing full-time on public health, biomedical research, and medical humanitarian aid. Her appointment reflects Endeavor’s commitment to elevating values-driven leaders who drive positive change across business, society, and the next generation.
